Drawbacks of Fruit Trees Grown in Containers
Fruit trees grown in pots require more attention than their outdoor counterparts. They will require careful attention to watering to prevent fruit from dropping before it is ripened. The leaves will quickly brown around the edges if they dry out as well. Other problems with potted trees are apple canker, apple scab, bacterial canker, brown rot, and silverleaf.
