Cat Eye Makeup Tutorial
The "cat eye" is back and is really simple to achieve with a few tips of the trade. Follow these 6 simple steps to purrrrfectly sexy eyes.
- Apply a neutral eye shadow to the lids of your eyes covering your entire lid area. The color should be just slightly lighter than your natural eye lid color.
- Apply the highlight color just under the brow line following the natural arch of the brow.
- Apply a deeper brown color into the crease area outwards. Brush out the crease color to blend it in a bit.
- Apply a thin line with liquid eyeliner along your upper lid, you can always build up to the preferred thickness. Apply and extend a small flick at the end of the lash line pointing up towards the end of the brow line. Now you can add more eye liner to make the line thicker at the edge.
- Apply highlight color to the inner tear duct, and black liner to the bottom lash line.
- Add your favorite mascara and you are done! It is that easy.
If you want to add a bit of glitz to your look, you can add some glitter to your eye lids. Use a cream eye shadow and immediately apply the glitter with a damp brush and it will adhere to the eye shadow. Use scotch tape to remove any unwanted glitter or to shape the glittered area.
To add to the glitter look you can also add a gold or light colored eye liner to the water line (inner bottom eye lash line) for extra shine.
