What Is in a Cosmopolitan Martini?

¾ shot (18.75 ml) Triple Sec

1 ½ shots (37.5 ml) vodka

2 ½ shots (62.5 ml) cranberry juice

1 tsp. caster sugar

½ shot (12.5 ml) lime juice

How to Make a Cosmopolitan Martini

A cosmopolitan is best prepared like a traditional martini rather than a mixed drink.  Here's how:

Chill a martini glass, stainless steel shaker, vodka, and all other liquids.

Fill the stainless steel shaker three quarter with ice.  Add all ingredients.  Gently shake to mix.  Be sure to mix all the ingredients well while allowing the liquids to be bathed in the ice until well chilled.

Strain the liquid into the martini glass and garnish.
