Does Polyester Shrink in the Dryer?
Polyester is a manmade fabric designed to resist wrinkles, shrinking, and stretching so it is unlikely that a 100% polyester garment will shrink when washed and dried. Read labels carefully before placing any garment in the dryer as fabrics are often blended, for example polyester with cotton, and cotton will shrink in the dryer.
