Having to buy separate eye shadow and eyeliner products is not necessary if you know how to turn eye shadow into eyeliner. Here’s how to go about it:
1. Use a Flat Eyeliner Brush
To properly convert eye shadow into eyeliner, it is important that you invest in a good quality flat eyeliner brush as this is the perfect tool to use when converting eye shadow into eyeliner. Alternatively, a traditional eyeliner brush can also be used in place of a flat eyeliner brush.
2. Use the Flat Eyeliner Brush with Eye Shadow Converter or Water
Once you are armed with a good flat eyeliner brush, you may use products that are made especially for converting eye shadow into eyeliner by simply dipping the flat eyeliner brush into the transforming or converting product first, and once the brush is moist with the said product, dip it into powder or cream eye shadow.
After doing this, you will find that you have created a paste made from your eye shadow and your transforming or converting product.
You may also use water to transform any eye shadow product into eyeliner.
3. Apply Your Converted Liquid Eyeliner
The finished product that will result from using water or a transforming product with your eye shadow is similar to liquid eyeliner. Therefore, it is important that you apply this very carefully with a steady hand, which can be achieved by sitting down by a desk with a mirror in front of you, that way your hand is always supported.
The eyeliner can be applied on either the upper or lower lid, or both, depending on the look you want to achieve. It is highly recommended that eyeliner be applied after you have already applied your eye shadow to prevent any possible smudging. However, it is also important to note that should you wish to curl your lashes, this must be done prior to applying eye shadow and eyeliner, so as not to ruin the application of your eye make up.
